If it's as simple as going over a weigh bridge then throw a few extra tools in the boot, a glove box full of fishing sinkers, a full tank of fuel and a fatty like my in the drivers seat. You'll qualify no worries.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Considering weigh bridges usually only note the licence plate with no car description, he may as well weigh a Commodore...

Having a quick read on the big US forums, it sounds like a Coyote V8 won't fit due to the width of the heads. An LS motor is a lot narrower (but way over capacity).

Hi Bruce,
Weigh Bridge will note the VIN number of the car.
And yes the Coyote V8 is very wide and will struggle to fit in between the frame rails with adequate clearance for steering shaft and exhaust etc.
LS V8 fits in well...transmission tunnel modifications are required to fit...nothing major but it needs work.
Ford Windsor V8 fits in with minor cosmetic trimming of the rear gussets in the rear corners of the engine bay.
All V8 conversions are challenging but the ford Windsor v8 is a known quantity and it fits in very well actually

Hi,
I think an ICV is the only way this will happen. Theoretically and physically a no go.
But I hope it happens as by then I will probably need another 5 to buy.

There is no such thing as an SP owner's manual. They were delivered with standard NB8B owner's manuals.
What, with no special servicing requirements?
Pretty easy vehicle to live with then. I want one.

A synthetic motor oil is common sense for any turbo application, but that's it.
