Lanky...hmm I did speak to a lanky friendly guy with a red NA who was 6'7'' and fitted in to his car without a problem. He even offered me a sit which I took up and seeing was believing. Trim guy and athletic so that would help - I should have got a photo. Slomo's drive rates as one of the very best and top marks for making a trip into a real touring holiday. Slomo must be made of stern stuff- thats a big trip and thanks for coming.

I was hunting around for an ND with Rota RBs to say thanks for the Renault tip-off. There were so many cars there I gave up after 30mins![/quote]
Sorry I missed you,got there early and was the second ND in the show and shine section, but then they filled to my right so was in the last line of the ND section! Would have had to have gone through heaps of cars to get to mine!!
Really great day and just amazing to see all these cars together.
Peter.

Mr Morlock, I'm 6'7" and did offer someone a seat in my red Na who took me up on the offer.
I was, up to 8 months ago 6'5" but have overcome a long term back injury = relaxed vertebra = 2 extra inches. (probably why now friendly)
The only problems I had with the car over the trip was a failed drivers door lock which meant stepping over the door to get in (happened after Sandown), pretty easy at my height, and a broken sway bar end link rubber bush.
Otherwise, at chassis build date of august 1989, a fantastic run.

6' 7" red tardis owner (spacious 89 NA8 clone) and cleaned up 92HZ SBY.

I was the small inconspicuous Asian guy with a white broad brim hat alternated with a black MX-5 cap.
BTW, I'm perfectly happy with my stature as I fit in my SE like hand in glove. I had a great day meeting so many interstate fellow enthusiasts and seeing countless variety of modded MX-5s.
