Every car i look at has one. I want one. Can someone hook me up please?
Frustrated trying to find one on this stupid Internet gizmo thingy
Also would love to know what number car mine is. Cant find anything on car.

A good place to start is the Website sponsors. Click on MX5 Mania and then "Exterior" parts, then slide down to the bottom of the listing. There are three grills listed. If that's not what you want you can always try a google search. There's a few sites in the USA that sell them.

Click here if you're not sure how: http://www.mx5mania.com.au/exterior.htm

Hi Richard,

You need to dismantle your carbon fibre air box to find the number. Whilst they are not officially numbered from Mazda, the airbox has a number engraved in it which we generally agree is the number of your car. Mine is #50. The number is in a few different areas on the air bix (about three areas that can't be seen unless it is removed from memory).

p.s. Don't tell me the mod bug is starting to bite already. There will be an uproar with people pounding on your door weilding clubs and fire!!

It's a neat little mod that produces an extra 25KWs for approximately $2.50.

Unfortunately for you the Sutherland Shire Council has considered it an environmentally unfriendly modification and banned it from the Shire. Therefore it's unlikely that anyone would venture to Cronulla to show you how it's done. I suppose you could always move though.

Andrew, stop teasing him. :D

T-piece mod is the best bang for buck I've seen - ever!

Just a word of warning though bear2230, regarding this mod. It has been known to cause some pinging at hi-revs during summer on some SPs. So you'll need to keep an ear for this if you choose to do it.

Yeah... What happened to that....? it seems to have meandered off the topic at 13-pages. Did you ever consolidate the listing? It was rather good having pix of the cars an' all.

Howdy Hi,

That's a much longer line for the T piece than I have. Mine connects to the actuator line 100mm before the entry into the BOV, and leads across the front of the engine to keep it the shortest possible length.

How have others done it? ... am I missing out on RWKW by having a short line?

Regards

Rob
