Looks pretty good.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Installed my Mania CAI. It certainly sounds a lot noiser and better now! It feels slightly faster too, although I think that's because I'm hitting the throttle more to hear the sound :D But it's not noticable when cruising along. I noticed when idling though you can clearly hear it sucking the air in (like a vaccum cleaner).

The Barge is on stands while a wheel that was beaten in the street is spending a week in Ballarat having a scan, massage and a skin treatment and as so I have taken the opportunity to install the new front sway (finally,I hear Arty call). When I removed the bar I noticed that the end links were a little stiff, removed and lubed them with some spray Lanoline by carefully inserting the straw under the top of the dustboot and then worked the grease through by rotating the joint a full 360 deg it has freed them up nicely and is a task that I will include on my regular list. The wheel should be back on Tuesday and then along with it's twin will spend a day in Bendigo being fitted with new outer garment, back home and onto the car so that the other pair can be outfitted as well, can't have them going out in odd coats nor working against each other so an alignment F&R is also planned, so much for not having a spare. It would have made the whole process so much easier.
Greg.

Great to hear from you 'Old Boy', FYI, I have recently met a vison of loveliness that leaves me without need of a walking stick and I have found that I am wearing my 'cardies' less often. I say, do you think that there is a possibility that she may be younger than I?
Greg.
P.S. I am looking forward to being back on the road and will let you know my thoughts on the B/stone S001's as soon as I have rubbed the wax from them.

Greg.

UPDATE. Finally got the wheel back from the health farm and I must say it looks as good now as it's unblemished sisters, dropped two wheels of to Bridgestone in Golden Square early yesterday and picked them up in the afternooon in new garments and looking far better clothed than not, fitted them to the car after dinner and shot back into Bendigo this morning, walked for an hour, less time out to view a BRZ in the Subaru showroom (quite unusual, I thought) the trim appeared a little smarter than the 86 although it was a time ago when I drove one, back to the outfitters to pick up the car just in time to see the Tech drive off, which was nice as it gave me the opportunity to hear the exhaust from the otherside :) .
After completing my business for the day it was a fairly quiet drive to Castlemaine for a late lunch and time to allow the tyres to cool before dumping some air and then taking it out for a damned good thrashing, and I am pleased, the bold tread assists in the tyre turning in a lot quicker than the 050's and has put a nice edge on it all.
I would like to thank Rod at "WHEELS" in Ballarat and in particular Graeme Jenkins and his staff at Greater City Tyre and Auto Golden Square and I cannot forget my mate Aaron who picked up the wheel when my chances of getting across to Ballarat before Friday next were nil.
Greg.
Now were did I put that pink cardigan?

Installed Mazdaspeed engine mounts. Tomorrow going to drill out the firewall and do the CAI that I've been putting aside for months.
