Indeed. I was amazed at how heavy the 18" setup was. The car handles all round better now. Of course, it doesn't LOOK as good, but I didn't buy the car to look at.

It's not just the weight but also s smaller rolling diameter :)

That is true. Now if only Coffs Harbour would co-operate with some half decent weather. It's either raining or blisteringly hot. I'm afraid summer up here on the north coast NSW is NOT the time for MX5-ing. Winter is the go with endless sunshine and cool days.
