No wonder those old Chrysler 265 cu in Hemis are tough, they were originally designed in the US to go into trucks!

The Aussie engineers went right through them, and came up with a very good engine.

They sound good too with the right exhaust system.

Seems there's more complications with my aorta, so I've been advised not to go on the run. I was so looking forward to it.

Hi All,

This is my car being built at Prodrive build number 82.


First registered 19 April 2002


Supreme Blue. Mods ....$2.60 T piece mod and the original Techno Grille.

I purchased the car in November 2001 and waited for the 2002 build models to arrive. My first order was the SP version of the Titanium model released at that time .... but Mazda canceled that order saying that they would not convert a "special" to an SP.

Replaced the mid pipe and muffler under warranty, new clutch at 95,000kms (now Exedy), had my nuts tightened at the exhaust flange.

In 120,000 Kms I have changed the brake pads only once also (although due again soon).

Tyres .... well I guess I have had at least 10 sets.

Currently goes for a drive once a week. Averages around 6,000 km pa now.
