Maybe a sign like you see in some businesses after hours:

\"NO MONEY OR VALUABLES KEPT IN THIS CAR\"

and a Rotweiler tethered to the rear wheel.

something like this could probably work effectively (at nite with the roof up would look someone is there unless you get a closeup look), & keep a portable battery (rechargeable perhaps) radio next to him so he won't get bored while guarding your car.

That's great. Should try and do that for the passenger seat in the mornings and see if you can scam using T2 lanes with it :P

Now hear this...

One of my workmates left his tomtom gps cradle in his BRAND SPANKING NEW NC Roadster.

As a result, his window was smashed and the culprit opened every compartment to look for the navigation unit (which was with my colleague at the time).

This happened in Newtown in broad daylight (between 1-3pm) right outside his house.

If you leave anything around to tempt theives, nothing will stop them from breaking into your car... rag top or hard top.

Worst of all, it wasnt just the glass that was damaged.

The glass torn up his leather seats to sh*t, also heaps of tiny nicks on the paintwork on the passenger door.

The plastic sills around the window have also been ripped to shreds too.

Whoever caused the damage did a might good job at ruining his new NC.

Bastard!

Thank God for insurance. At least there are signs of a forced entry so should be no probs.

I catch a train a fair bit an' I am too paranoid to leave the bugger at the station because I get home when its gettin dark (in winter), so I take the missus' Collola. If I had to leave my girl in the street, I'd buy a different car, or get another place, man, cos the town I live in is full of space cadets, drug users, mother rapers, FATHER rapers and jaywalkers.

If it wasnt illegal to wire your car up so that these arsewipes fried themselves to death tryin to get in, I'd do it just to see the bastards burn. I wouldn't even mind sweeping up the ashes afterwards.

Mongrels that smash your property with such wanton disrespect all for the sake of feeding their disgusting drug addiction deserve nothing more than the death penalty IMHO.
