Hi everyone - I'm Peter in real life, but I'm known by a host of nicknames including Peeeeete, Petey, Petey Weete, Uncle Pete, Peter Pan and since I told some colleagues in Melbourne of my 5 purchase, Speed Racer!!!! . I work with a bunch of females, so the most common one is Petey...

Andrew here. :) Slug dub is a reference to one of my favourite pieces of music by The Orb.

In a little over an hour I'll be an MX5 owner.

Hi Everyone,

Fentongove is really Scott. I live in Melbourne's North and when I have been a good boy, I drive my 2000 Crystal Blue NB30P2 - I am not giving out the rego yet, because it is about to change. From what I have been able to work out from the VIN number it is the 100th NB30P2 made JMONB30P200200101 (assuming that JMONB30P200200001 was the first NB30P2. If anyone knows any better, please let me know.

Please wave if you see me waving...Fentongove

Welcome Scott, does it have a beige interior?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

aza5c = Aaron, hi everyone, nickname is Az or Aza, the 5 is because 5 was the number on my basketball jersey for a looooong time (and kinda fitting i've now got an MX), and C is for my surname.

Thanks Okibi,

No, it doesn't have a beige interior - just the standard cloth. There is a bit of the usual damage to the vinyl on the seat where it meets the back but I am going to try to keep it original as long as possible. I don't think I could replace it with anything other than black/charcoal, the Crystal Blue doesn't really lend itself to anything else in my opinion.
The other news since my last entry is that the registration has now changed... If you see ACEMX5 (vic) on the road, don't forget to wave.
