Living in the Kimberley I find myself driving over 200kms for work each day with one of my workplaces being 3.5 hours away and another 5.5 hours away. Missing my MX-5 but driving on muddy station roads during the wet season has unique challenges.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

A stunning evening for Christmas Eve here, so decided a drive was in order. Need to do more and try to get back to enjoying this car.

Took the car for an afternoon drive up Mount Glorious with my fiancé (I got engaged) yesterday. It was the first good drive of the car in a while and was fun. It hasn't resolved my consternation, but it was a reminder of how fun the car is when in it's element.

Do rides count? I recently upgraded my fair-weather daily ride from a VTR250 to a V-Strom 650 so I can go ride a few fire trails with mates. This was my first trip out on the dirt: Pokolbin lookout, not far from Wollombi.

Thanks all regarding the engagement. No wedding date set yet, maybe this year if we get our butts in gear, otherwise it'll be next.
