Re: H plates obtained
Ok my apologies. I thought it was a Vic roads impressed fee....
More opportunities have been lost from indecision, rather than wrong decision.

Re: H plates obtained
Saw a new H2 plate today (on all things a Capri). I thought they were running out of digits for the H plates (max. was 99999-H). I saw a 0013-H2 plate (I guess they will go H3, etc). Victoria has issued a lot of H plates!

Re: H plates obtained
They have presumably issued 100,000 on the old numbering system and now on to new format. Great someone has a Capri- but which one - an English version or the Mazda platform made in Broadmeadows. A turbo versions with upgraded body kit it could be a very good car to have on Club Plates - good ones would be very hard to get hold of. One thing which was better in the Capri over an MX-5 was the former model had a lot more room for touring. They also had a removable hard top which looked pretty good in the day. Ultimately value plays a role- even the MX-5 is not really worth much at this stage.

Sounds like 99% of them.
The only clean ones you tend to see are the odd Clubsprint XR2, and the occasional base model owned since new by the owner.
Much of the rest have either succumbed to UV or general wear and tear.
Or the roof has inevitably leaked and the interior went mouldy and the whole car was binned.
