It has horrendously overpriced forged wheels and front brembo brakes. It's about $10,000AUD for what the US gets for $3400USD.
Some would say it takes a certain type of person to believe that's a good deal.

Congrats on the the new wheels pete! A few years ago I bought a limited edition too, a 2005 SE (as a second owner though.) At the time it was arguably the the best of the 5’s limited edition to date- factory turbo, bilstein coil overs, upgraded brakes and swaybars, super strong shot peen 6 speed box, torsen diff, 17x7 Racingheart rims and a unique Velocity Red Mica paint job (I was lucky enough to get the all leather interior.)
Limited editions hold better value for resale............

Unfortunately a few years back I lost my s**t and worked it to monstrous proportions

(Anyone out there want to go for a drive in it?)

I call it “The Problem Child”...... heres a picture of what it looks like nowdays!

BAH - it's still "The Barge"/"Fat Boy" of the MX5 series, too bloated to ever resemble a classic roadster
- even Mazda thinks so based on the return to the original formula in the design of the ND.

I don't doubt that the NC is a good car but it just doesn't look like an MX5 to me or "fit" in the MX5 range and the crappy shiny-plastic interior is a real turn-off - you can't avoid seeing the interior when driving which detracts from the driving experience.

Note to self: "Stop feeding the Troll".
