That's the setup I run (mca reds 24mm front) works pretty well I find with slight oversteer right on the limit

since the sway bars are adjustable, maybe set the front sway bar to stiff. keep the rear one set to soft. before spending to much time and effort replacing parts.

I tried that, doesn't work especially if you are still running a torsen

Looks like new rubber is your first port of call. As a few others have said, maybe swap back to your OEM sways too. MCA usually advise to use OEM sways with their suspension too.

Old tyres might cause low grip, but I doubt equally old tyres are going to cause unequal balance. If they're old and crap they'll need replacing regardless, but I doubt is related to your grip balance problem.

Hey guys, took your advice and swapped out the rear bar to the original. I forgot how tiny it was - looked like coathanger wire compared to the Whiteline bar! Took it for a short road drive, and it felt better, but there is nowhere safe round here to get it sliding. Definitely felt just all round "better" though. So then I replaced the front bar back to standard as well, and it felt better again.
Can't wait to get to the QR general practice next Saturday now to see what it will actually do on the grip - slide - grip transition.
I had been using the same logic as Trackphotos, yes, the tyres are shot, but they are all equally shot, and if the problem is a lack of coordination between the front and back, and we can make it better on shot tyres, then when we can afford new tyres, it should be better then too.
I guess the saying "when all else fails, read the instructions" is true - I dug out MCA's original letter to us, and it said to only use the factory bars. Lo and behold, when you do that, it works!! Whodathunk??
Pepe - I'll take the big front Whiteline bar in the boot to General practice. so I have that option to play with if necessary.

Adding rake (ie front lower than rear) would make it even more tail happy which is the opposite of what OP wants..

Further to my previous post on driver training, here is what you can expect from a coaching day with MR Tuning.
- Person to check your tyre pressures and adjust as required everytime you come into the pits
- One on one coaching by video review after every second session. Each time you are given advice (positive/negative) and when you go out again you are expected to work on what was discussed.
- Radio contact with a person on the pit wall. This requires you to have additional items installed into your car and helmet to allow this communication. This is mandatory on some tracks (insurance/safety), however not at QR as the whole track can be seen from the wall. It is a little in-nerving when you first here somebody talking to you, but you quickly get to appreciate it.
- If you have data collection this can be reviewed in conjunction with the one on one coaching. Would be perfect it you had a motec system in your car
Driver training is not a silver bullet, it still requires lots of effort from the driver to put the theory into practice.
Data analysis.
Most basic apps collect G Force data. The G force data allows a G Plot to be produced. By looking at the plot you can pick up where you have 'issues', in addition it also allows you to determine what is the max G's you can do on your setup (including crap tyres).
This compares session 2 and 3 at Lakeside, you can see that in Session 2 I was pushing a lot harder. The blue circle is 1.2G. The theory is (at least in deceleration) that almost all the points should be towards the edge of the blue circle when you are turning a corner.

I can then drill down further to compare lap(s)
