Carry on.
Was thinking the same thing, it'd make the 25th Anniversary buyers out there happy they jumped!

Re: quite pretty, innit? (ND launch)
Over 2 years ago I urged Mazda (if they wanted to stay in the game) to get back to classic sportscar styling like the Maserati front end....

Mark Booths photos are really good- the Mazda ones not so good. If Mark makes it look svelte and cool it must be so. Weight is apparently down by around 100KG so that gets the tick as well. Looking forward to more detail. Looks like they are back in business and with a car that puts the Z4 into the shade. PS liked the black windscreen surround and the front lights which are along the lines of Lexus. Of course it has influences from other cars but we expect that.

I like it.
I think it has elements of NA, NB & NC.
Interior is a step up.

In fact the image of the actual car was shared on Twitter a day or so before I saw on another forum but there had been so many renders of this car that most didn't believe it could have been the real deal.
Funny thing about the ND is that is looks in keeping with the NA and NB; the NC is the odd one out.
Yeah, Mazda got the NC styling WRONG, an MX5 should look like a classic roadster, NOT like it belongs to the period it was designed in.

Ah, curves are back at last! ...and to good effect, to my eye. A bit of classic BMW Z10 with a dash of Maserati GT, perhaps...
I can't see from the published pix whether they have used the current Mazda design theme angular creases down the sides, tho. Might just ruin the otherwise classic, but fresh,
streamlined flow....
I do hope they manage to squeeze some ponies under the bonnet ... doesn't do to have a 'sportscar' that can't keep up with the latest VW hatchback.....
So, who's first in line at the Mazda showroom?
