And you get a limited edition set of watches with each. 8)

Just how good would it have been if they came out in that deep green with tan leather

So, after reading through Dupain's post, they have cut costs by restricting colours, options, etc and increased price by $1,100. The only extra is a wrist watch. Who TF wears a wrist watch these days?

Dupain is not entirely correct, there have been mechanical upgrades to the motor. Not necessarily increasing Kw, but more so the responsiveness of the motor. Bilstein shocks are also fitted.
These alone are worth more than $1100. Factor in everything else, only 1000 produced and gorgeous paint scheme, you have a pretty special car!

As for wrist watches, people with style!

I have a box full of them and would never leave the house without one. Checking ones 'phone for the time is clear evidence of just how easily people can be manipulated.

The article is not correct- just for starters the first upgrade to NC was late in 2006 and there was a number of other usual changes to keep the model ticking and some would say needing a rewind and I don't think the watches will do it- they are not offering Rolexes which will not depreciate at the same rate as the car. Like Taminga I never go out without a wrist watch and keep a spare in the car but no collector models.!

Appearance all in the eye of the beholder- for me the interior is a shocker- off white ? I reckon its just all too late the car is virtually gone now with 10 year old technology and being overtaken by a number of competitors.

Be fair everyone. Mazda have even "blueprinted" the engine. I think this means they may even have used a matched set of pistons/con rods. Wow!
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

Bootz,
I find your TROLL comment a little hypercritical, particularly in view of your previous post and the non-constructive 'ND' contribution. There are pages elsewhere regarding the new MX-5.

When Skynet devastates the planet and all your electronic devices are just so much inert wire and glass, my mechanical watches will still be giving me correct time, even if I am not game to come out from under my rock. Dunno what's wrong with you young whipper-snappers, a nice watch is just about the only acceptable piece of male jewellery.
