Which battery for nb8b

I put a fullriver HC20 in my car when the original panasonic stopped charging off the alternator (though even 11 years old it still charged off the trickle charger fine). The fullriver is thinner than the panasonic . So I modified the stock bracket in about 15 minutes to fit. 3 years on it so far with no issues..was about $140 with postage though compared to an MF43 but it's 7kg Vs 11.25kg so it's lighter. For me my 8B is a race car so weight is king..for a street car and especially if that MF43 fits in with no mods it sounds like a winner.

Was trying to take advantage of Autobarn's 25% off all batteries this weekend, unfortunately the original Panasonic is mounted so low that all their batteries can't fit without some sort of modifications. (Ie Century and Supercharge)

Question, how did you guys with the MF43 fit yours without any mods? The battery clamp will not sit flush if I'd chosen that battery, hmmmm
