Hang in there, once "the barges" start getting on in years (ie. >5 years) the modz will start coming, not many people are prepared to make radical modz on a new car.

I don't really read that many garage threads here, most of the stuff is pretty standard mods nowadays.

The ones that catch my eye are where people have actually done work themselves, and it's not simple things like "look, I installed a new set of wheels"

Many newer threads are all becoming the same, Monday somebody posts "hey look at my NA6, it's a beast"
Tuesday "so I bought some wheels in a stupid offset"
Wednesday "then I bought coilovers and lowered it heaps"
Thursday "then I bought a GV lip and covered anything I could find is stupid plastidip"
friday "got bored with the wheels and painted them some silly colour"

Then after a few months it's yet more wheels, more coilovers, then usually "i want to go a different direction with the car" which means a basic turbo kit and yet more wheels.

I really only follow build threads which have some decent owner fabrication and skills involved, there aren't that many like that on here once you discount Dann, MX5+ guy (forgot the name), and Lightyear.

Lol, I'm just a fussy bugger.

I've never really read that much into garage threads though, usually it's more questions etc that interest me. I don't even update my own MX5 thread.

No idea, I just have a personal dislike of it.

I lurk the garage threads, but still new to the MX-5 scene so don't really have anything to offer in regard to comments.

No point in hanging in there, "the barge" will be gone by Christmas.
