I really should have nominated you another time for that one - 2 breaks same day, plus the brake fluid fountain.......

And of course there was this one time at driver training when someone managed to beach hi car by trying to drive slowly through it ;)

Err, I didn't bust that switch. I specifically pointed out that they get belted off so that someone wouldn't do it.

How about installing an NA6 oil filter into an NA8, and dropping $60 worth of Castrol Edge onto Cal's garage, driveway, grass, kerb and gutter when I reversed out?

Left a nice 20m stain and grass burn to mark my dodgyness.

In my defence, I asked the dude at Repco for an NA8 one, he just didn't check the box, neither did I.

should i post up some pics of the damage? i have kept this little story pretty much to myself so far, but i guess i could get into the spirit of things and show youse the damage.

A friend of mines son did a very similar thing once.

He has a bus stop out the front of his house and there is a group of girls that get on a particular bus .... yadayadayada

anyway
comes out one day opens up the garage door and starts his car up
(he had just bought a SSS stanza nice car etc) anyway he's warming it up and like any 17yo gives it a few hey how you doin revs and selects gear R

10 seconds later he's realised that doors only fold one way nicely and that they should be shut when going in/out of garages!

Needless to say for the next 3 months he avoided leaving for school at the same time as the bus out the front.

sh*t happens!

Now, isn't there a picture of Wayne's effort in his only ever act of work on the car. This being changing the oil, and leaving the oil cap off?

Topped off by this slightly embarrassing \"oversight\" being discovered on an official run!

I do also remember this one - from memory it made QUITE a mess.........and him having to then find a replacement cap or something to block it with in a hurry?????

Almost as bad as using the AC system to drive removing the crank bolt - I've heard of an air wrench but that's taking it a bit too far.........

Now... UA if you ever bothered to come on an official run you would know.

1.) It was discovered within 5 mins of me taking the cap off.
2.) Not a huge mess at all - cleaned off in 5 mins with some degreaser and hose.
3.) The original cap was sitting where I had left it on the Can cover.

AND.. since then half a dozen people have admitted to the same 'dodgy' crime. AND.... it was over a year ago... so more suited to 2006 Dodgies.
