Re: How many people r going to buy the new model ND
I know this is a bit random, probably also a bit of superfluous info, but I was on the yank site in the last few days and on one of the threads there, one of the guys had a hack for the Infotainment system, whereby you can watch a video on the screen.
I tried it and the first try was a failure. I think the file was too large.
Second time around, I loaded a mp4 file with a 640 x 480 video of beautiful New Zealand on it.
Took it out to the car and tried it. It worked, as per advertised. Nice crisp screen and beautiful Bose 9 speaker sound.
Not sure if there is any use for this, but at least it is possible.....

Yes, mate, that is Mark's car.
It's a beautiful soul red GT ND, with black leather interior, but you already know that if you have sat in it at Coot-tha!

Here is a link for new ND owners with the Infotainment system.
It's the toolbox software for Mac or PC that can be downloaded to check if your SD card in the Infotainment system is running the latest updates for Maps, etc.
Or you can just rely on Mazda Australia to keep your gear up to date........haha

Re: How many people r going to buy the new model ND
My Autoexe kit arrives next week and I'll be doing the change-over very soon.
Apparently, I will have no further use for my Fang Lights, so I'll be flogging them off....damn, have you seen how much a set of these go for????
And if the dollar keeps going down, I can just pay the car off with them soon......well, not quite!
Frank
P.S. Couple of ND GT's at the Brisbane Chapter run tomorrow.....

Have you ordered the 'L plater heading for your ND' yet? I had a bit of a laugh this morning simply because you and I are the same - park it MILES away from anyone! Hope you and Liz had a great day

Re: How many people r going to buy the new model ND
Had my first test drive this morning.
Well after driving it (manual version) what can I say, nice CAR but when I compare it to my NA it felt claustrophobic but on the plus side it feels very willing to rev, very nice engine and gearbox.
The test car may have required a better wheel alignment as it felt like it wanted to not steer in a straight line. The sunroof was great, very easy to put up and the battery is where it should be. Vision for me felt restricted in rear from the doors back. Having said all that you need to see it and assess it for yourselves because we are all different.
