SPAMMER REPORTS - Read this and absorb it

Starting this thread so people can make reports, and review the list before parting with money. It is mainly a WTB problem, but scammers are everywhere and we all need to be vigilant where money is changing hand, buying or selling.

This thread is for a consolidated list of scammer reports.

If you have been approached by a user you think may be a scamming attempt:

First, report to mods, so we can deal with them (refer for banning);

Second, post their user name here.

CAVEAT EMPTOR

Please take care buying and selling here especially with WTB ads, the scammers will PM you with (usually) a referral to a third party. Be very careful of new posters, posters with low post counts, posters who have not participated constructively on this forum. You can search their posts, that is not snooping when your money is at risk and you know there are scammers everywhere - it is called 'due dilligence' in the business and commerce worlds.

CAVEAT EMPTOR.

To search a user's profile, click on their user name, view 'overview', and click on 'view user's posts' and you can see their post history. You can also see when they joined, and then it is just a case of connecting the dots.

Regardless of what that sort of search throws up, remember you are dealing with anonymous people who you don't know. Buying and selling on the interwebs is risky, act accordingly.
