NB8B PWR 42MM RADIATOR INSTALLATION

Postby kiezon » Wed Feb 20, 2019 11:48 am

Hi all,

I'd just like to know what individuals who have fitted the NB PWR 42mm radiator into their cars were required to do in order to install this item.

I'm aware I may be required to bend A/C lines or condenser brackets. Unsure how to go about doing this without damaging anything. I prefer to install this radiator with as little irreversible modification as possible. I.e. drilling, cutting etc.

Was there anything else required to do?

Cheers,
Kieron

they are very soft aluminum. The condenser pipes I'm talking about......be daring. just move them a little bit

I have a 1.8 in a NA6 chassis. yes our pipes are a little differently placed. perhaps. be gentle about it. you'll be fine I bent mine out of place. one didnt screw up properly underneath because there just isn't any room.

I too was worried about having to bend pipes when I put a CSF 42mm radiator in my SE.
Guess what?
I didn't have to bend a thing. It just went straight in.
