Hi all,
Been having this idling issue for almost 2 years but never really bothered to look into it.
When the car is still cold, then revs will drop to as low as 200 when the come has come to complete stop in neutral after a short drive.
The revs will bounce between 200-900 for a few seconds and the issue goes away once the car has warmed up and will idle perfectly
Have tried cleaning the MAF sensor, throttle body and disconnect the battery to reset the ECU.
Any advice on what it may be?
Thanks,
Geoff

Only just saw this, think because it was just before the forum went down for a few days. Don't know enough about the NC, except to say that given what you've already done, then a sensor issue in the cold idle operating circuit sounds like it could be an issue. Sounds like you might have already seen this, which includes a Mazda TSB on the subject : https://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.p ... 886&page=4
