SE vs NB8B tail lights

Just wanting to confirm something that's been running around in my mind for some time now.

Does the SE share the same tail lights as the standard NB8B or does the SE have a darker outer rim to them?

I believe that the SE's tail lights are the same just a bit darker.

I had to replace a taillight on my SE recently with a standard 8b light and can't see any difference between the two. I'll grab a photo if you'd like.
