Re: Best model NB
Saw a funny Instagram post the other day - against a picture of an NA it said My NA could throw a rod everyday, randomly catch fire and come alive at night to kill me in my sleep..............I still wouldn't buy an NB:)

Re: Best model NB
The NB P2 ( the next iterations are pretty hard to find simply based on lower sales ) is almost certainly the best up to NC. The real advantage of NB over NA is air bags. an advantage of early NA's is that in Vic at least you get concession Plates ( CP's) If you are driving a car regularly then air bags make sense - i.e. safety. Also there is not a lot of price difference so a later model car - 2001 makes sense.

Re: Best model NB
I would have to say the 2005 SE
(all the good stuff from an SE with a flip key, better wheels and heat treated panels)

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Is that why your car is black?

BETTER WHEELS???
They're even HEAVIER than the 2004 SE's boat anchors!

Re: Best model NB
a minor point but if you're staying stockish the earlier NB8B's don't have the ODBII port. I ..think.. that came in 2003 (?)
would be useful for many of the add-ons you can get today that use it (HUD's etc).

Re: Best model NB
Drove NB - nothing that my modded NA doesn’t do except airbags and more modern. Will look at the 2005 NB in Sydney this week though there are some better buys aroud at the moment considering this one is at a dealer. Maybe he’s flexible on the price...we’ll see.
NB SE, NA 1.8.

Re: Best model NB
did not know they were still making NB in 2005 and if they were then arguably the NC is an even better choice. Lot to be said for a safer car with less kilometres than an NA- the marque did evolve.

Re: Best model NB
Remember the S.E. is an NB
Just had a look at cars guide, they have a red 2004 NB with 34,600k for $16,500 listed in N.S.W,

Some ADM build plate dates were 2004, but some compliance plate dates were 2005. More commonly associated with the SE.
