Hectik drifting my Capella

Postby StanTheMan » Mon Aug 14, 2017 12:14 pm

Not Mx5 related.....but so funny.

Wiley Park residents will have a giggle.

Ethnics taking the piss. very clever. Yallah!!!!

Because
When i do a burn-out it goes forever
Even goes harder in wet weather
Said ill always be your friend
Yallah I'mma go sideways round the bend
When the cops come they come together
With aussie names like bob and trevor
We can go driftin' in my cappella
Yallah, yallah, eh, eh, eh

LMFAO

Love It!
However MY 1972 Capella RX2 with the rectangular headlights was a better looking vehicle that that one.
Back in the day there were several of us that had Rotaries and we jokingly referred to ourselves as the "Winky Wankel Rocky Rotary Dreg-drinking Drivers Capella Car Club and Swill-swallowing Savannah Society".
We had a 'Club Song' and pewter glass-bottomed beer mugs engraved with the club name.
Hey! We were 20 year olds!

thanks for the laugh Stan, i laughed at the "Yallah I'mma go sideways round the bend" bit.
i must admit from having an RX4, 2 x SA22 RX-7's and a FC RX-7 i do miss the BRAP BRAP. nearly bought a Auto capella a few months back as the auto tunnel is larger and easier to fit a later manual in such as an FC's but decided the MX5 will do me for a good while now.
my shed is full of Rotary signs and general Mazda crap but the door stop is a 13B rotor that got hungry and ate an Apex seal, it was on a mates RX-3 that ran 9 second passes and nearly killed him eventually, 8 months in hospital.
the other shed door has a GT3582R holding it open from my WRX :D
