How many kms has the SE done?

my thoughts are that a std NB is a great sportscar built for fun - I would not swap for an SE- why bother. If you don't like a std NB of that vintage then an SE is not going to make any real difference. If a std NB does not excite then you are barking up the wrong tree.

That's what I thought you'd say. I get it, I think I'm barking up the right tree :) I have dríven so many different cars, the most memorable are the lightest lowest powered ones.

Power & torque figures aren't massively different as the SE (121KW & 206Nm) was an very conservative factory turbo. That said, some only want the SE as they are a factory turbo & more in reach price-wise these days. Whereas others say SE is pointless & if you want a turbo NB8B (113KW & 181Nm)/NB8C (107KW & 168Nm)/NB8D (107KW & 168Nm) buy one, turbo it, & get it engineered if possible depending on which state or territory you live in. NB8B power & torque figures differ from NB8C & NB8D as the method for measuring changed.
