You guys are going to hate me but I ended up buying a WRX instead :P lol DW I'm going to get an MX5 one day.

had my first manual lesson. was a bit harder than I thought it would be but I will persevere. hopefully the Rexxy will be a bit more forgiving for a newbie.

what I did notice was that the clutch was a lot heavier than the instructors car.

The WRX is a great people mover (i've had 3) but the MX-5 has more smiles per mile and are more affordable for club level motorsport.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
