I've known a lot of customers who've bought exotic cars from me and regretted having to fill sometimes the only remaining seat in them with a Minder for when they park, as well as finding the cars are impractical in so many other ways. So in the interest of stealthiness and useability I reckon I'd be picking (since the question is which car, singular) from:

BARMY (when "finished"?)
A properly done MX5 V8 in BRG. Cream leather please. Must appear standard until started.
Singer 911 in silver. Black leather.
Eagle Speedster in burgundy (might like it, and me and mine, to be parked in Burgundy too). Cream leather.

The last one might be losing the ideal level of stealthiness but should, like the 911, still command an element of respect and thus not be attacked in the same way an unattended Ferrari would be.

There, I feel better now.
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

I scratch my list and instead make a deal with the genie to swap for an unlimited amount of time.
Currently I have 8 cars on my property and not enough time to progress.
I feel a fire sale coming on to clear out and then a strict plan to finish the few that I'm keeping one by one.
JayMo, there can't be many of us that like valiants, rotarys, VAG and mx5s can there? S series with a 265 for the win!

Hi Kalt, no I hadn't seen that Stingray.
What can I say - that would be my "muscle car".
Just love those C2 Corvettes.
This one is special as it has been completely re-built with modern everything.
Should have left the bumpers on the front however as that is what gives the C2 it's unique style.

Norm Beechey's EH S4
Bob Jane's Mk II Jag
Early Formula Ford
1958 Vanwall

I'd be pretty happy to trot all those out on a track day but if I could only do one it'd be the Vanwall.

McLaren F1
Ferrari F40
Ferrari F12
Brabus Maybach 62
AMG G Wagon
Caterham 7 - not a stupid powerful version but not the base model
A FWD khana special
V8 tube frame off-roader
Over the top modified F40 - giant widebody, wings, etc
Empty garage spot for the project of the moment?

Those of who said an MX5 are either daft or kidding themselves.

After a trip to Bendigo to attend the Theatre this evening I have decided that I want to alter my wish list.

I only want for one car, a multi coloured, piece of sh*t, four bald tyred Hyundai two door Excel (early square shape) so that I can drive about like no one else and nothing else matters. So that I can for no reason what so ever, abuse '"poofta c#%ts who drive poofta cars" and then be foolish enough to park the shitbox and pursue my prey up the stairs to the Theatre and only to go on and abuse the "poofta's" female partner  ,everything went a little red from there on, but anyone who has been to the Capital Theatre in Bendigo will know that a tumble from the top step to the road way after receiving an unexpected blow to the chin is quiet a fall.
We saw a performance of TaikOz which I would highly recommend, while the security people tidied up.

All in all a brilliant night sullied only ever so slightly by a inconsiderate fool and a slight scuff to the toe of one of my Italian shoes.
Greg.
Now, where is that Hyundai?
When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?

AE86
86/BRZ
WRX STi
RS Liberty sedan
RX3
GT500 Mustang
R34 GTR
MX5's probably mine and either a NA or NC or maybe both
Porsche 911
Maybe a Landcruiser or Grand Vitara or Forester

...and I mean if money was no problem neither would space to put all of these so Id probably think of more cars to buy and modify to add to the list, cant go wrong with JDM :D

In the real world my garage is filled with my NC2 MX-5, a 2004 BMW R1150R motorcycle (modded to make 100 rwhp) and a 2WD Mazda Bravo turbo diesel (single cab). I am tidying a few things at the moment and when they are sorted I intend updating the ute to a dual cab Mazda BT-50, the Grandchildren are becoming more independent and swapping cars is a pain. The bike is ridiculously fast, I am tinkering with my NC (for quick), WL sways, Tein's (nearly there), braided lines, EBC pads, GWR muffler, tyres, foot well lighting and an illuminated glove box, what where Mazda thinking?
That will do.
Greg.
P.S. If the right NA came up I could build an addition to my garage.

Surprised at the AWD/RWD ratio.
Thankfully there is no Suzuki swift in sight.

My shopping list is a little different than most only because of some of the wealthy neighbours in the street ( lucky bast#rds :( ).
On a regular basis i get to see a 2014 Maserati GranTurismo, yellow 355,black gallardo and lately a new Bentley Convertible.
At least they haven't spoiled their kids by making them drive things like mazda 2's and polo's etc.

So on my wish list would be a

1 27 window Kombi with porsche running gear.
2 TD2000 with a NitroDann turbo enhancement.
3 Stag fitted with either Lexus V8 or a full R32 drivetrain conversion fitted.
4 ZO6 Corvette for the inner bogan
5 Already have a SP so the small roadster part is taken care of.

It's been an interesting read so far as to what different folk like. 8)

AWD is a hell of a lot of fun too :D Build some for grip, drift and drags, probably all of them would be modified and a few would be crazy builds with built engines with all the bells and whistles, Man its good to dream haha. Nothing wrong with a swift though  , could possibly add a swift gti, had one of those with a turbo hanging off the front, it was a beast of a car but with money (and space) being no object Id rather fill my (imaginary) garage with all of the cars I would one day like to own somewhere along the way. (probably not a R34 GTR or the 911 or the GT500, unless I do win the lotto big time lol)
