From over at the big forum, it appears that the ND will have an interior very similar to the recently leaked images of the new Mazda2 interior......

Thoughts? Doesn't particularly grab me, esspecially Mazda's new favorite trick of sticking an upright tablet in the middle of the dash. :|

I'd be Happy with that interior.....provided the price tag was also similar to a mazda2!

What's with the passenger's centre eyeball air vent deleted and replaced with a sneaky vent streamlined into the dash? Interesting detail, but I'm not a fan...

Actually looks quite evolutionary from the NC's facelifted interior, a lot of common elements in there. You have to hand it to Mazda, they're very consistent with their design language across the range, although I don't think the Kodo stuff works that well on the smaller cars - to my eyes it looks heavy on the new Mazda2/Demio (http://www.carsuk.net/new-2015-mazda2-arrives/) and I'm not certain it works that well on the 3 - the sedan looks like an 85% scale model of the 6 and the hatch throws off a couple of weird proportions when looked at from certain angles. Still, it's striking and not immediately offensive (I'm looking at you, Jeep).
