Postby mx589 » Mon May 26, 2014 6:34 pm

Hey guys I'm a bit of a noob here so don't know if I posted this in the right spot or not but I am fitting a nb 6 speed to my na and want to replace both the upper and lower boots. I've done a little bit of research but want to know before I buy it will the boots in the link below fit and is the price not bad ?
Thanks

Make a photographic note of the order in which the shifter components are fitted. Be very careful to avoid small parts falling in to the tunnel. Let me know if you need a replacement bottom bush (the one that fits on the ball at the bottom of the shifter) as I have a couple of brand new unused spares.

I've wondered about doing the same gearbox change myself. I'm interested in peoples thoughts on how worthwhile the swap is?

Most, if not all, that do it seem happy, but cost @ $1k for 6 speed GB plus removal/fitting, & 6 speed GB feel compared to 5 speed GB feel might be considerations.
