I think that the car may be a Triumph Herald but will stand to be corrected.
Greg.
When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?

Pretty sure Herald is correct but with Spitfire twin 1.25" SUs and (Sebring?) twin exhaust.

The last 5 seconds would be what would happen if I rebuilt a motor.
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

It's a mk3/4 Spitfire.

Sold mine last year.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

They're similar on the inside, but its like saying Gina Rinehart is basically Elle Macpherson.

.... only in the last Midgets though, thanks goodness. The previous A series, shared with Mini Cooper and Cooper S was way better than the Herald motor which had its origins in a 1950s Standard 10.
