GO Pro White?

Been thinking about getting a camera for my track car and I can get the Go Pro white with my fly buy points. Is it worth getting or better off getting a better model? I only plan on doing basic stuff with it as I am an Old Fart that has trouble keeping up with all the things these things do these days.

For basic stuff it'll be fine. Personally I would get a AS30V Sony Action Cam, the image stabilisation and GPS come in very handy especially for track days. Your image will be much smoother and using the GPS info you can overlay your speed/distance and other useful information on the videos. The microphone on the Sony camera is also miles better than any gopro.

Here is a 1080p cycling video I did with mine to test out the GPS overlay, keep in mind that youtube dumbs down the video quality.
