Mazda introduces capped price servicing

And the 6 month interval seems to have been dropped. 10000km seems to be the only interval.

Read about this in another article.

Seems to be the 10K lube prices are still the same costings (still way overpriced - $283 for a lube service and check chassis bolts lol). Just the bigs ones (40/80/120K etc) will be discounted.

Still has nothing on the discounted $149/$159/$179 other manufactures offer.

But the calender removal interval is an interesting approach. Should see owners that drive less than 20K a year save some coin.

A good move by Mazda as they're way behind the competition on servicing costs. But it does worry me that some owners might now go a few years or more between brake fluid changes. :frown:

Just wait to you see the price of it! Cheaper servicing is offset by higher purchase prices.

Yup, won't be cheap. Will be good value for money compared with others in the same market though, which is a different thing.

Looks like there will be a time limit between services of 12 months. Much better than the current 6 months.
